Six questions to ask before you hire
1. Who does the painting? Many drywall contractors patch and leave. You then find a painter, wait, and hope the two jobs line up. Ask whether the same crew paints. Ours does, in the same visit.
2. Can you match my texture? Ask which textures they can match and whether they test on a small area first. A vague answer usually means a visible patch.
3. Are you bonded and insured? Ask, and ask for proof. Patch Plus Paint is bonded and insured.
4. Who will actually show up? Owner-run companies tend to show up when they say they will. Patch Plus Paint is owned and run by Amin Shahim, and many reviews mention him by name for arriving quickly to quote.
5. How do you protect my home? Floors, furniture, and fixtures should be covered before work starts, and the crew should clean up after. Reviews are the best evidence here: look for the word “clean.”
6. Is the quote free, and is it in writing? It should be both. Ours are.
