Ceilings are unforgiving β€” get them done right

Ceiling repairs are harder than wall repairs: the light hits them differently, the texture is trickier, and a bad patch is impossible to hide. This is exactly the kind of work Patch Plus Paint specializes in. Several of our long-time customers first called us after a freeze, a roof leak, or an upstairs plumbing problem left a mark on the ceiling.

What we fix

How it works

  1. Confirm the leak is fixed. A repair only lasts if the water source is resolved. We’ll check, and refer you if a plumber or roofer is needed first.
  2. Repair and seal. We replace damaged drywall and seal any stains with a stain-blocking primer so they can’t bleed back through.
  3. Texture and paint. We match the texture and repaint so the ceiling looks whole again.

Serving Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and surrounding North Dallas suburbs.

Ceiling Repair β€” FAQs

My ceiling has a brown water stain. Can you fix it? +
Yes. First we make sure the leak that caused it has been resolved, then we repair any damaged drywall, seal the stain with a stain-blocking primer so it can't bleed back through, re-texture, and repaint. A painted-over stain without proper sealing will usually come back β€” we do it the right way.
Will the new paint match the rest of my ceiling? +
We match the texture and paint as closely as possible. On ceilings, the cleanest result often comes from repainting the full ceiling so there's no visible line β€” we'll talk you through the options when we quote.
How fast can you come out for water damage? +
We know water damage is stressful and time-sensitive. Call us β€” we respond to most requests within one business day and prioritize active damage situations.
Can you repair a sagging ceiling? +
Yes. Sagging usually means the drywall has absorbed moisture or come loose from the framing. We remove the compromised section, replace it, re-texture, and repaint.
